How to Create a 2026 Vision Board That Actually Manifests
Share
“The reason that most vision boards suck is that they’re stuck on the wall of your bedroom and forgotten by February,” Helen says with a laugh.
But here's what neuroscience teaches us: your Reticular Activating System in your brain is only aware of what you see, and you see it over and over again. If your vision board is behind your closet door, it's not working. Your dream needs to appear in front of you every single day… in your planner, on your phone, throughout the places you use most.
This is what we like to do. Rather than making a vision board that you're just going to let collect dust on the wall, you're going to make a micro vision board – a thoughtful grouping of stickers and affirmations that live on the spots you interact with most.
"Phone case. Planner. Laptop. These are the constant reminders that draw your eyes to your goals, and keep you focused on them."
The psychological implications are clear: by picturing your goals in your mind on a consistent basis, your mind is now primed to be aware of opportunities that link with your vision. You start to make new decisions. You start to say "yes" to what is important. You pay attention to that chance meeting that could be a turning point. This isn’t magic, it’s brain training.
Now, let's create your 2026 vision board correctly.
Step 1: Select Your 2026 "Vibe" or "Era”
Before you purchase a single sticker sheet, it is essential to consider: “What kind of feeling do I want to create in my life in 2026?"
Not what you want to achieve (that will come later). What kind of feeling do you want to feel when you wake up? Confident? At peace? Creative? Energetic? Abundant?
Here are a few of what I'll call "Vibe" archetypes to help your imagination flow:
The Soft Success Girl: You want to achieve your goals without burning out. You want peaceful mornings, progress, and balance.
The Old Money Style: Quiet confidence, timeless elegance, slow living. Think: reading by the fireplace, quality over quantity, understated luxury.
That Girl: You're committed to your health, consistency, and showing up for yourself first. Think: morning yoga, nourishing food, body respect.
And so on…
Once you decide on a vibe, everything else falls into place. You’re not randomly gathering pics, you’re building a narrative about who you’re transforming into.
Pro Tip: If you can't decide, choose the vibe that made you feel something when you read it. That emotional pull? That's your intuition telling you what you actually need.
Step 2: Map Your Goals Across Life’s Categories
Now that you have your vibe, get specific. What does that vibe look like in real life?
Note down 3-5 goals in the following categories:
Career & Money: Is a pay raise what you wanted? Is a side business launched? Is it financial peace of mind?
Health & Wellness: A regular fitness regime? Improved sleep? Repairing your relationship with your body?
Family and Friendship: Deeper relationships? Boundaries? A relationship? Spend time with family. Community?
Personal Growth & Learning: A skill you want to master? A language? Therapy? More reading?
Lifestyle & Adventure: Travel or moving? Trying something new? Redecorating? Slowing Down?
Don't strive for perfection—strive for clarity. "You're looking for the feelings these goals create, not a list of 50 things," advises Alan Crowe.
Here's the part most people miss: Each goal should have an action anchor—the one tiny thing you'll do this week that moves you toward it. Not "I want to be healthier." But "I'll meal prep on Sundays" or "I'll walk 20 minutes daily." The action makes it real.
Step 3: Your Micro-Vision Board (The Portable Part)
It is here that "Savoir Stickers" brings your idea from an abstract state to life.
On Your Planner:
Select one of the collections of Savoir which appeals to your 2026 style. Assume that you are going for “Soft Success”—the “Côte d'Azur Lifestyle” collection looks both luxurious and compounded.
You’re doing more than just decorating a surface. You’re creating a visual cue your brain recognises and connects to progress. Every time you flip open your planner, your eyes land on your stickers, and your brain gets a little micro-dose of motivation and a little nudge to remember what’s important.
On Your Phone (The Daily Reminder):
Decorate your phone with Savoir Stickers in any way you want, mix and match even. Now, each and every time you look at your phone (which let’s face it, it’s like an extension of our hands) you are flooding your brain with your vision of 2026.
This is ambient motivation. You're not forcing yourself to think about your goals, they're already there, whispering to you.
On Your Laptop or Desk:
The same way, a sticker in the corner of your laptop or tablet becomes a “talisman” that symbolises your intention. When you feel overwhelmed and uncertain about yourself, you look at it, and something shifts.
Step 4: The Affirmation Layer
Stickers are powerful, but affirmations are even more so. Now, take one sentence about each sticker that says you already are the person who can achieve this goal.
Don't write: "I hope to make $10K this year."
Write: "I am creating a business that serves those I care for, and funds come easily to me."
Instead of: "I would like to be healthy."
Say: "My body is strong. I celebrate it with exercise and healthy food."
The psychology: When you write your affirmations in the present tense, your mind does not protest. It gradually accepts your story. In time, your behaviour changes to match your story.
Step 5: The Daily Review Ritual
“The problem with most vision boards is that people create them and then forget them.”
Rather, commit to this 3-minute daily ritual:
Morning Routine: Take out your planner, view your stickers, and visualise one thing you can do today to bring yourself closer to reaching your goal.
Night: Think about one small win from the day. It doesn’t even have to be that significant. Have you gone out for that walk, made that call, said no to something that doesn’t serve you well? Write it down. You are gaining momentum.
This is not about perfection. This is about consistency. Ninety-five percent of people who achieve sustainable changes in behaviour do so because of their connection to an idealised version of themselves. This is what you're doing.
Strive for being better 1% each day.
Why This Works (The Science)
Vision boards aren't magical thinking—they're neuroscience.
-
Goal Priming: When you see your goals visually every day, your RAS (Reticular Activating System) becomes primed to notice opportunities that align with those goals. You start seeing job postings for the career you want. You spot the gym. You notice when someone says something hurtful, instead of accepting it.
-
Self-Efficacy: When you visualise yourself achieving your goals, you're rehearsing the behaviour in your mind, which primes the same neural pathways as actual performance. Your brain begins to believe it's possible, so you're braver about trying.
- Emotional Salience: Goals paired with images and affirmations you feel something about are more likely to drive consistent action. You're not chasing a vague idea—you're pursuing a vision that lights you up.
